Schritte zur Fehlerbehebung

1. Beenden Sie STEAM und starten Sie es dann erneut
2. Sollte das Problem weiterhin bestehen, beenden Sie STEAM erneut und löschen Sie die Datei ClientRegistry.blob in Ihrem Steam-Installationsordner (C:\Programme\Valve\Steam oder C:\Programme\Steam\) und starten Sie dann STEAM erneut
3. Hat das Löschen der ClientRegistry.blob Datei nicht geholfen, beenden Sie STEAM und löschen Sie alle Dateien und Ordner in Ihrem Steam-Verzeichnis außer die Datei Steam.exe und der SteamApps-Ordner (hierin befinden sich Ihre Spiele!). Wenn Sie nun STEAM starten aktualisiert es sich automatisch.
4. Besteht das Problem noch immer, lesen Sie bitte den Artikel Verifying GCF Cache Files (Überprüfen der Spiele-Dateien) um ggf. Ihre Spiele-Dateien zu reparieren
5. Dieser Fehler kann auch auftreten, wenn Dateien in Ihrem Steam-Ordner schreibgeschützt sind. Um dies zu beheben, gehen Sie wie folgt vor:
1. Beenden Sie STEAM
2. Öffnen Sie das Verzeichnis, in das Sie STEAM installiert haben (üblicherweise C:\Programme\ oder C:\Programme\Valve\)
3. Rechtsklicken Sie auf den Ordner Steam
4. Wählen Sie Eigenschaften
5. Entfernen Sie das Häckchen aus dem Feld Schreibgeschützt und klicken Sie auf Übernehmen

1. Exit and restart Steam
2. If the issue persists, exit Steam and delete the ClientRegistry.blob file under the Steam installation directory (C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\ or C:\Program Files\Steam\ by default) and restart Steam
3. If deleting the clientregistry.blob file does not resolve the issue, please exit Steam and delete everything under the Steam installation directory except Steam.exe and the /SteamApps folder - this will force Steam to update when you log in
4. If the issue persists, please see the Verifying GCF Cache Files article for instructions to repair your game cache files
5. Also, this error can be caused by having certain Steam files set to Read Only. To resolve this:
* Exit Steam.
* Navigate to the directory where you installed Steam. (Typically C:\Program Files\ or C:\Program Files\Valve\.)
* Right-click on the Steam folder.
* Select Properties.
* Check the Read-Only checkbox and press Apply.
* Uncheck the Read-Only checkbox and press Apply.
6. Disable all background applications, including Anti-Virus software and Firewalls.

7. Double-check your router configuration to make sure that it is properly configured for Steam. If bypassing the router by connecting directly to your Cable/DSL modem allows the game to work correctly, then please consult the Using a Router with Steam topic for more detailed instructions on configuring your router.

Data Execution Prevention

1. Go to Start > Control Panel > System > Advanced > Performance > Data Execution Prevention.
2. Select "Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select:"
3. Select "Add" to add Steam to the exception list.

In some cases, this issue can be resolved by installing or reinstalling the Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package.

For 32-bit Processors, please install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86)

hab das alles gemacht steam datein alle gelöscht bis auf steamapps und die exe( hab ja eh nixmehr drauf-.-)

hat alles nix gebracht

widnows neu installieren

jo neuen pc kaufen und windows 7 installieren und dann noch steam! frag mich was dran jetzt schlimmer ist...

was haben ein boot und windows gemeinsam..

wenn man ein fenster aufmacht gehen die probleme los

selbe war bei mir und fear demo......einfach warten..nachnem tag oda so gings dann

Der hat das prob. aber schon länger!
