OK every one finaly after 2 months or more and over 450 hrs and almost completely rebuilding this map it is ready to go onto the TSF server :D :D
So the final version of this map will go on the server tomorrow night (SUNDAY 2nd September) at around 7 pm our time and again i will leave it on for several hrs .
so please try to make it as there are even more bits added than there were on the last test. 😉 😉
I have opened up a large area at the back of the map and put in a bank to help with fps in certain areas as well as help game play.Also the main building has 2 extra stories added to it, this was mainly to help stop other parts of the map from being rendered when players are down by the bank at the lower end of the map. again this was to help increase fps. BUT it looks good also.

Once again I would like to thank SADIST for the time he has put in in helping me sort out several glitches and teaching me things I have needed to know along the way.....
Also I would like to thank DYNAS for the link he gave me to that map optomisation tutorial, As with out it I would never of got my version of runoff to do a full compile.
Hope to see you all there as it would be nice to put this map to a proper test with lots of players on it at the same time..

how long it takes to compile this mapmod?

Well from being a no chance compile and getting stuck on 2.3 of the portal flow and not moving after 9 hours it then got stuck on around 5.2 then after a load more work, it got stuck on 8 then i found out the real problem :loloo: It was the foot bridge at the back of the map every step and all the hand rails were solids not func decals 😢which was sending the vis into cayos. As soon as I sorted that out the compile time came rocketing down to 50 minutes for the portal flow.
After swalowing that tutorial several times over :loloo: :loloo: :loloo:
and rebuilding the map so that one side couldnt see the other via vis leafs, by the use of a block of sky box and the extra hight on the main building to hide it when you stand on the crane i built. AND some carefull use of hints after deleting every hint that was put in the origional runoff map of course as they were all wrong :loloo: :loloo: :loloo: THANKS VALVE LOL.

I managed to get it to do the portal flow in just under 14 minutes and the hole compile in around 25 mins :D :D :D

but there is an option for the rad that says short, full or final. i dont know what the difference is from the full to the final but i used the final one to be sure and the whole compile took 44 minutes 8) :loloo:

BUT as KC|FYCKFACO says i am using a nassa spacestation console as a pc :loloo: :loloo: :loloo:
with q66 quad core processor running all 4 cores at 2.4 Ghz each lol

Hint Brushes are realy heavy stuff. I did not understand it until today xD.
So far I could do my Maps without it.
A short compile time is very importent for good gameplay with good FPS so i think the Map is well playable :D
It is possible to download this Map? because i dont have much time today to watch out your Server :(
