Hi !

Think it´s a really nice idea to put in a few new textures.
Respect for your work Carioca!
Killbox ("dm_bs_bathroom" :-) ) looks fine,nice lighting,colours are really cool.

But ... (don´t get me wrong) :

Triplebox looks a lil too dark (especially the red room) and the walls kind of "heavy coloured" to me.

And in my opinion the walltexture in both maps ( "sqare" / "block" design with dark border lines) focusses a playrs attention very much.

Probably it is a good idea to compare this to a desktopdesign of a person that works in front of a pc 8 hours a day intensively.
I think the best design is what keeps the eyes on the important things on the screen w/o making them tired.
Usually the playrs are the most important ,not textures or colours.

I hope you understand what i´m trying to say 😉
This is just a suggestion.

Perhaps the colours and lighting of triplebox should be brighter and the borders of the textureblocks on both maps less noticeable.
Think this would look really cool.

I´m curious to read som opinions of other playrs.

hmm, the normal killbox is light enough i think. I use a very light green as textures on the wall for that. Also the room has enough light now.
In the triplebox maybe you are right, but i checked the triplebox on different PCs, its on every PC different. Here on my PC the red room is not so dark, but the green room more. On other PCs its exactly the opposite sometimes. So its difficult to find a perfect balance. My monitor is print optimated after CMYK colors, its a bit lighter than normal. Thats the reason, why i checked on different PCs my map. And it was not to bad till now. The floor is very white and give much light back. But i was thinking about put more light in the room, maybe a env_sun. Maybe i do in rc1, will see. But when i compare with other maps, there are a lot, which are more dark, and i dont wanted a so light map again, cause playing a bit in a dark map is also not bad.
Till now i played both maps a lot, get also a lot positive feedback and didnt have problems. I find my targets, also with the colors all was ok.... Will try more with the lights when more gamer think its not so ok, i will bring out a second version.

Edit: I updated the map with more light and hdr rendering now. Should be perfect now for gamers with more dark screens.

That was the reason for my posting.
I found it hard to locate othr playrs ´cause of :

1) distractin borderlines of textureblocks walls are build of (kill+triplebox)
2) a bit lil contrast ´cause of dark lighting / colours (triplebox)

Lighting n contrast on triplebox (killbox also) seem much better to me now! (saves lifes in killbox maps :-) )

np, if i compare the new triplebox hdr with the old one, its realy better now with the light. And i want that all can play the map without problems.
