Hi there again BLOODSUCKERS
Over the last month or two, I have been making a completely new map from scratch.
This map will be called dm_killbox_[tsf]_the_octagons. This is primarily a killbox map but it has 2 octagon shaped boxes that are linked together by a short tunnel on the ground level and two walkways about two thirds of the way up. there is a central room that overlooks both boxes with three possible ways to get up into that room.
These are by way of two teleports, one in each of the octagon boxes an a neat little ladder system leading up from the small tunnel on the ground floor . Also at the top of the ladders there is a very small room with a sliding door which is triggered by a player coming up the ladder.
This sliding door is a one way door so you can get into the central room via it but not back out after it has closed.
There are two possible ways out of this central room. either jump out of the windows into one of the boxes or to shoot a sign on the wall and exit using a teleport that is inside the tardis. (police box)

There are many other little things to get your interest in this map such as two gold dalek statues , small tardises to use as physics and even a couple of daleks to throw as well
I will be putting it on the [ TSF ] server (( ip 217.163.27.50:27015 )) on thursday afternoon and leaving on for the night at least.

Thank you Lord Davros for the view from your new map here on Blooduckers Board.
Its good to see that some guys still working and publish some new HL2 Maps for DM and TDM.
Your Map looks fine and i will watch out your server so i can play/test your new map as one of the first :D
Also i am interestet to put this map on my TDM Server cause the cycle need some new stuff and i think my server will love your new map :D

looks cool, will check it out as soon as I can get myself off Call Of Duty multiplayer...love the daleks and the tardis :mrgreen:

Well I would just like to say a big thank you to everyone who came to see the launch of the map. :D :D
Also I would like to say sorry for the lateness of the map going live , but I should know by now that where this game is considered nothing goes as it should.
However once we had worked out that it was an areaportal window causing the problem deleted it and quickly rushed some other optimisations to the map everyone was able to join with out an error message. BUT then no one had any textures 😢 😢 ... this was a simple fix really as we didnt realise that those of us that were in the server would need to restart our games b4 the textures in the updated version of the map would take effect. GRRRR :twisted:
Any way thanks again for your suport and patience and I will have an updated version either later today or tomor 8) row as Rav and my self found one or two other small glitches that I would like to fix before the final version goes public....

HI just thought i would pop in again to let you all know that I have now got a version on the tsf server that should be a final version with everything intact.
Also i have added two prop physics tele ports to help keep the gameplay flowing , one under the main lift in the center of one of the boxes and another in the walkyway between the two boxes.
the tsf server is running the map all day today but we have an inter clam match tonight at 7.30 pm so i will return the server to a normal cycle after that but dm_[tsf]_the_octagons will be in the main cycle ..

Ps thanks for your patience whilst we got the problems sorted, and please let me know all your thought and glitches if you find any....

NO problem i will let you know as soon as i have any other maps comming out.
I must find a list or your bloodsuckers maps to see if there are any that would be right for our server . that is if you would alow us to use 1 or 2 .
basicaly we are running our server as a killbox server but with an end of map vote that alows other maps to be chosen . you get a choice of 3 maps at the end of each map or another option to extend the curent map ..
