Hennef - In der Zeit zwischen Mittwoch, dem 17.10.07 ca. 22.00 Uhr und Donnerstag, dem 18.10.07 ca. 07.30 Uhr, [font=Lucida Console]beabsichtigten[/font] bislang unbekannte Täter über das Dach einer Garage an der Frankfurter Straße auf das Gelände eines angrenzenden Supermarktes zu gelangen. Hierzu schoben sie eine auf dem Garagenhof befindliche Mülltonne als Kletterhilfe vor die Garage und rissen den Bewegungsmelder einer Lampe zu Boden. Auf dem Dach gaben schließlich die Wellplatten unter einem der Täter nach und er stürzte mitsamt den nachrutschenden Trümmerteilen auf die Motorhaube eines darunter stehenden Mercedes-Benz. Das Fahrzeug wurde hierbei im Frontbereich erheblich beschädigt. Durch das Loch im Dach gelang es der Person die verschlossene Garage wieder zu verlassen. Anschließend flüchteten die Täter in unbekannter Richtung.
