Use of continuous bad language and abuse

I was on server 1 tonight, (my second home) and there was a guy on there who was using bad launguage everytime he got killed. I asked him to stop, and he told me to go f))) myself and then made further disgusting comments. Once I explained that I had recorded his IP and Steam account he left. Did I do the right thing???

My question is this, I know we all say a few naughty things while playing, but having a player on like this really gives us a bad name.

What is the policy on the server, regarding banning people??? and as a member am I entitled to ban anyone??? or is it down to dynas. I dont know the console commands yet, but I can soon get them.

Can you advise me please, I dont want to sound like a moaning git, but I can post what this guy said and you can judge if you wana.

PS, this server is so cool, keep up the good maps and playing guys, u r all great. Man there are some great players on this server, stop fragging me so often hehe :shock:
