Xfire Exception

Hi

I've been meaning to post something about this for some time but not got around to it

My view on the Xfire Exception thing is it is not Xfire crashing but it picks up the error from steam crashing

IE: Nealy everytime HL2 crashes and i get the Xfire Exception boxes pop up ' so i kick myself from the game with HLSW and then go back in and most of the time there are players standing there in motion just before they "timed out" and i know not everyone uses Xfire

The other day i was playing server 7 with jimi ' masochist ' Gringo and some others i crashed (up pops Xfire Exception) went straight back in the game and jimi and masochist were standing in motion and i know that jimi was not using Xfire at the time so thats what got me thinking

What are your views on the Xfire Exception thingy Xfire or steam????

i think xfire trys to help game developers by sending them reports about game crashes
cos the game itself or steam doesnt do that

no i think its xfire sending a report to valve

alot of players are saying they don't use Xfire anymore cos of the Xfire Exception but im saying it's not Xfire thats making you crash??
